Poison by aethercladd

Format: Commander

Commander: Fynn, the Fangbearer

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Fynn, the Fangbearer turns an aggressive curve of cheap deathtouch creatures into an immediate clock by applying two poison counters whenever they deal combat damage to an opponent. The deck leverages an ultra-low mana curve filled with one-drop deathtouch threats to swarm opponents early. You break through blockers using trample enablers like Rancor, Nylea, God of the Hunt, and cheap combat tricks, while deathtouch ensures that blocking trades favorably or allows lethal trample damage to pierce defenses. Fast mana and explosive draw engines like Glimpse of Nature sustain deployment, closing out games via combat poison or overrun effects such as Triumph of the Hordes.
