Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul artifact-midrange strategy led by Aerid Konstrari. The game plan revolves around deploying low-cost mana dorks and land ramp on Turns 1 and 2 to cast Aerid on Turn 4. Aerid enters the battlefield creating Heartwood tokens, which simultaneously ramp mana and increase the total artifact count. The deck converts this artifact density into game-ending pressure on Turn 5 using tall scaling beaters like Darksteel Juggernaut and Nettlecyst, explosive mass pumps via Craterclaw Colossus, or direct table-wide damage with Chandra's Ignition and Ingenious Artillerist. The deck operates smoothly and recovers well from board wipes thanks to Aerid's death trigger and redundant token generators, though it remains vulnerable to artifact board wipes and lacks stack-based countermagic.
