Format: Commander

Commander: Massimo, the Magician

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This is a Jeskai combo/value deck that weaponizes one-mana instants and sorceries. Massimo, the Magician exiles a MV1 spell from the graveyard on every creature ETB, converting attackers like Spellseeker, Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer, and Professional Face-Breaker into spell-copying threats. The primary game plan is a cheap-spell storm kill: Underworld Breach + Lion's Eye Diamond + Brain Freeze mills the entire table, with Thassa's Oracle as a self-mill backup. When the combo is answered, Delney, Streetwise Lookout and Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive make the small creature suite unblockable and double its triggers, while Final Fortune, Nexus of Fate, and Great Train Heist multiply combat-copy value. Vivi Ornitier acts as a hidden secondary engine, growing off every noncreature spell and producing large bursts of red/blue mana. Massimo is an advantage engine rather than an irreplaceable combo piece.
