Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius artifact midrange deck commanded by Captain America, Living Legend. The strategy leverages Captain America's ability to untap each creature the first time it taps during your turn. This mechanic allows attackers to retain defensive vigilance while enabling activated-ability creatures like Iron Lad, Diverging Destiny and Iron Spider, Stark Upgrade to tap twice every turn. The deck advances its game plan by developing artifact-based mana acceleration and deploying evasive Hero and artifact creatures. Midgame combat pressure builds through wide token generation from Threefold Thunderhulk and scaling aerial threats such as Filigree Attendant. An asymmetric sweep with Righteous Fury removes opposing tapped creatures while leaving your untapping army intact. Without fast mana or tutors, the deck plays a classic board-centric game of attrition and evasion.
