Toph, Metalbender by hhelf87

Format: Commander

Commander: Toph, the First Metalbender

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Toph, the First Metalbender makes every nontoken artifact a land, turning artifact ramp into a landfall engine and a source of huge animated attackers. The deck ramps heavily, casts Toph early, then uses her end-step earthbend plus Ba Sing Se and Roaring Earth to turn rocks and basics into hasty 0/0 creatures with counters. All-Fates Scroll and Meria convert the artifact-land density into card advantage, while Scute Swarm, Tannuk, and Sabotender generate additional value. The hidden commander is The Legend of Kyoshi // Avatar Kyoshi, which draws, earthbends, and eventually gives all lands trample, hexproof, and huge mana. A secondary combo line wins with Basalt Monolith plus Voltaic Construct and Walking Ballista or Staff of Domination.
