Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos forced-combat control strategy centered around Kardur, Doomscourge. By forcing all opposing creatures to attack each turn while preventing them from attacking you, the deck turns opponents' offensive power against one another. Early turns focus on establishing two-mana ramp artifacts and minor rattlesnakes. Once Kardur enters the battlefield on Turn 4, opponents are forced into aggressive combat trades, leaving them tapped out and vulnerable. The deck maintains this pressure using cheap reanimation instants like Feign Death and Undying Malice to reuse Kardur's enters-the-battlefield trigger, alongside redundant forced-combat spells such as Disrupt Decorum and Geode Rager. As opposing life totals dwindle under damage multipliers like Dictate of the Twin Gods and Death Kiss, aristocrat drain triggers from Kardur and Blood Artist steadily siphon remaining health. The game closes out around Turn 8 through mass board clears, large token assaults, or direct life loss from Massacre Wurm.
