Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos forced-combat and punisher-control deck commanded by Kardur, Doomscourge. Its game plan revolves around manipulating multiplayer combat dynamics, forcing opponents to attack each other while protecting your life total and whittling down opposing life totals. In the early turns, the deck develops mana through on-curve artifacts and lands, preparing to cast Kardur on Turn 4 to disrupt opposing aggressive strategies and trigger widespread attrition. As opponents' life totals fall from forced attacks, the deck transitions into high-impact win conditions. It can execute an infinite damage loop using Brash Taunter equipped with Blazing Sunsteel, wipe boards for lethal reflected burn with Repercussion and Blasphemous Act, or lock opponents out of resources using Mornsong Aria combined with Opposition Agent or Ob Nixilis, Unshackled. High-cost finishers like Insurrection and Rise of the Dark Realms provide potent late-game redundancy.
