Deck overview

This Dimir deck is helmed by Satoru Umezawa, whose ability grants ninjutsu to every creature card in your hand for {2}{U}{B}. The primary plan is to deploy a cheap, unblockable creature early, then use Satoru to sneak in enormous threats like Blightsteel Colossus, Archon of Cruelty, or Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre for a fraction of their mana cost. The deck also includes Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow as a secondary win condition-her combat-damage trigger drains each opponent for the mana value of the top card of your library, turning high-CMC bombs into table-wide damage. A robust interaction suite (counterspells, free protection, instant-speed removal) and a dense tutor package ensure you consistently find the right piece at the right time. The deck is a hybrid of explosive ninjutsu combat and control elements, able to pivot between a fast clock and a slower, disruption-heavy game.
