Deck overview

This Abzan Food and token deck uses Merry and Pippin to turn artifacts and Foods into a wide, lifegaining board. Merry creates a 1/1 lifelink Soldier once per turn when artifacts enter, while Pippin makes a Food for {1},{T} and sacrifices four Foods to give your other creatures +3/+3 and haste. Doublers like Parallel Lives and Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation and payoffs like Samwise Gamgee, Gyome, and The Gaffer multiply tokens and life gain. Wins come from Pippin-boosted combat or Craterhoof Behemoth, with Felidar Sovereign, Bolas's Citadel, and Mirkwood Bats as alternate paths. Gandalf the White doubles triggers and grants flash.
