Deck overview

This Boros deck pairs Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh and Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist to execute an aggressive Equipment Voltron strategy. Rograkh enters on Turn 1 for zero mana, bringing innate first strike, menace, and trample. Ardenn enters on Turn 3 and immediately attaches heavy equipment like Colossus Hammer, Excalibur, Sword of Eden, or Nettlecyst to Rograkh at the beginning of combat without paying equip costs. A dense tutor package ensures consistent access to power buffs, double strike enablers, and protective equipment. The deck eliminates opponents through rapid commander damage, aiming to close the game between Turns 5 and 6. While vulnerable to multi-target interaction across a four-player table, redundant equip cheaters and instant-speed toolbox options provide solid resilience.
