Smaug's not so lonely Mountian by user7371805

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Magnificent

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Smaug the Magnificent commands an aggressive mono-red Dragon tribal deck that converts Treasure generation and high-flying threats into lethal burn and combat damage. The primary game plan accelerates out cost reducers and mana rocks to cast Smaug and massive Dragons ahead of curve. Smaug immediately attacks with haste to snipe utility creatures or planeswalkers while stockpiling Treasures. As the board develops, engines like Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas, and Utvara Hellkite turn creature deployments into explosive direct damage and overwhelming aerial boards. Alternate win conditions include artifact accumulation via Hellkite Tyrant and combat doubling from Blast-Furnace Hellkite.
