Commander: Obeka, Brute Chronologist

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a tempo-oriented Grixis strategy helmed by Obeka, Brute Chronologist, designed to weaponize the "end the turn" ability to permanently retain temporary tokens, extra-turn gains, and reanimation effects. The primary game plan revolves around casting creatures with haste that are sacrificed or exiled at end of turn-such as token copies from Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, Rionya, Fire Dancer, and Sneak Attack-then using Obeka (or Sundial of the Infinite) to end the turn before those triggers resolve, keeping the creatures indefinitely. The deck also exploits extra-turn spells like Final Fortune and Last Chance (which would normally cause a loss) by ending the turn before the loss trigger. Win conditions include overwhelming combat damage from a large token army, Terror of the Peaks pings, and the myriad synergy of The Master, Multiplied combined with Obeka to keep tokens. The deck is highly synergistic but relies on a critical density of copy effects and end-the-turn enablers to execute its plan.
