Deck overview

This Grixis combo-control deck helmed by Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin leverages a dense tutor suite, fast mana, and multiple compact two-card infinite combos to win from a low mana base. The front side of Kefka provides discard-based card advantage and fuels the graveyard, while the back side turns any life loss during your turn into massive card draw. The primary win conditions are Thassa's Oracle + Demonic Consultation/Tainted Pact, Worldgorger Dragon + Animate Dead for infinite mana and ETB triggers, and Dualcaster Mage + Twinflame for infinite hasty tokens. The deck also runs Underworld Breach + Brain Freeze as a storm kill. With 8+ realizable combos, a high density of free counterspells, and a low average mana value of 2.40, the deck is built to execute its game plan quickly and resiliently.
