Deck overview

This Esper deck is a shadow-tribal tempo engine built around Lyna, Veil of Vengeance. The plan is to deploy a critical mass of shadow creatures - effectively unblockable in a normal pod - and convert every hit into cards with Lyna's combat trigger, Bident of Thassa, Enduring Curiosity, and Reconnaissance Mission. The evasive swarm is multiplied into a real clock by Soltari Champion, Stronghold Overseer, and Dauthi Warlord. Wins come by attrition: chip damage from evasive 1/1s and 2/2s, the half-life threat of Unstoppable Slasher, and theft from Dauthi Voidwalker, Thalakos Deceiver, and The Weaver King. Lyna's activated ability plus cost reducers Training Grounds and Heartstone let the deck hand shadow to non-shadow finishers, making them unblockable too. There are no infinite combos - the deck wins by repeatedly connecting with evasive bodies and burying opponents in card advantage.
