Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Naya Equipment Voltron strategy centered on Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER. The primary game plan focuses on casting efficient equipment in the early turns, then resolving Cloud on turn 4. Cloud automatically attaches an unequipped weapon upon entry and attacks immediately with haste. When Cloud attacks with power 7 or greater, it draws cards and creates Treasure tokens, fueling continuous mana and card advantage. The deck expands its pressure with extra-combat and power-scaling payoffs such as Tifa, Martial Artist, Genji Glove, and Vincent, Vengeful Atoner. Because closing the game relies on dealing lethal combat damage across multiple rotations, the deck runs a robust suite of instant-speed protection like Clever Concealment and Boros Charm to protect its board against wipes and targeted removal.
