Deck overview

This Bant deck partners The Third Doctor with Sarah Jane Smith to execute a historic token-swarm strategy. The game plan focuses on deploying cheap historic spells to trigger Sarah Jane's investigate ability, compounding tokens through multipliers like Academy Manufactor, Peregrin Took, and Samwise Gamgee. These noncreature artifacts simultaneously fuel massive mana generation via Jaheira, Friend of the Forest, Urza, Lord High Artificer, and Inspiring Statuary. Once a critical mass of Clues, Foods, and Treasures is assembled, the deck pivots into an overwhelming win condition by either animating all tokens into 4/4 fliers with Cyberdrive Awakener, overloading Rise and Shine, or attacking with an unblockable, trample-heavy Third Doctor. Backed by top-tier free countermagic and broad protective spells like Dawn's Truce, the deck protects its engine and systematically eliminates the table over two combat steps.
