Deck overview

Grand Arbiter Augustin IV is an Azorius prison-control commander. The deck raises opponents' spell costs while lowering your own, buying time to resolve a small set of compact wins. The primary line is Approach of the Second Sun plus Reprieve: cast Approach, return it to hand with Reprieve, then recast it next turn. Omniscience, Academy Rector, and Replenish provide a second path, while Azor's Elocutors wins the very long game. The commander is the central tax piece and mana reducer, but not a required engine; the deck still functions if he is absent, just several turns slower.
