Deck overview

This Boros deck combines Dwarf tribal synergy with Equipment and Treasure generation, commanded by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. The strategy establishes early board presence using low-cost Dwarves and mana rocks on Turns 1 through 3, then casts Thorin on Turn 4 to convert all artifact tokens into a scaling power anthem. By hoarding Treasures and creating artifact tokens with Academy Manufactor, The Reaver Cleaver, and Magda, Brazen Outlaw, the deck scales wide combat attacks into lethal territory on Turn 5. Supported by double-strike enablers like Reyav, Master Smith and equipment cheat effects like Bruenor Battlehammer and Forge Anew, the deck closes the game through overwhelming combat damage across Turns 6 and 7. Resilient defensive options such as Teferi's Protection, Boros Charm, and Mithril Coat safeguard the army against sweepers.
