Fighting for freedom by Humanissue

Format: Commander

Commander: Aragorn, King of Gondor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jeskai Soldier-tribal deck that wins by creating a wide battlefield of Soldiers and turning them sideways under anthem effects. The commander, Immard the Stormcleaver, is not the hidden engine; he provides repeatable four-damage removal or lifelink/indestructible, while the true work is done by token generators and lords such as Brimaz, Preeminent Captain, Field Marshal, and Shared Animosity. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around the Soldier creature type. Finishing lines rely on Akroma's Will's double strike, Aurelia's extra combat, and massive Shared Animosity damage. Interaction is a mix of cheap counters, free protection spells, and creature/enchantment removal.
