Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black attrition and Voltron control strategy commanded by Vincent Valentine // Galian Beast. The game plan revolves around casting symmetric sacrifice and edict effects such as Fleshbag Marauder, Accursed Marauder, and Sheoldred's Edict to systematically clear opposing creatures. Every opponent creature that dies fuels Vincent with +1/+1 counters equal to its power. When Vincent attacks, he transforms into Galian Beast, a massive threat with trample and lifelink that rapidly eliminates players with lethal commander damage while regenerating life totals. The rest of the deck is heavily fortified with protection equipment like Lightning Greaves and Swiftfoot Boots, card draw engines like Braids, Arisen Nightmare and Morbid Opportunist, and high-impact backup finishers such as Massacre Wurm, Syr Konrad, the Grim, and Rise of the Dark Realms to close out the table through combat and life drain.
