Commander: Zimone, Infinite Analyst

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Simic deck uses Zimone, Infinite Analyst to discount X-spells and grow herself, then floods the board with hydras and X-creatures like Stonecoil Serpent, Primordial Hydra, The Goose Mother, and Hydroid Krasis. Counter doublers such as Kami of Whispered Hopes, Ozolith, the Shattered Spire, and Benevolent Hydra turn small X investments into large threats. You win by attacking with huge hydras, by ticking Simic Ascendancy to 20 growth counters, or by making infinite mana and firing Walking Ballista. Zimone speeds up X-spells but neither combo needs her, so the deck plays well even when she is removed.
