Deck overview

This is a Selesnya midrange lifegain-counters deck helmed by Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn. The plan is straightforward: gain life early and often, then convert that life into +1/+1 counters via Lathiel's end-step trigger and supporting engines like Heliod, Sun-Crowned, Hardened Scales, and Branching Evolution. A loose Unicorn/Horse tribal package (Crested Sunmare, Good-Fortune Unicorn, Emiel the Blessed) supplies bodies, tokens, and resilience while life-triggered draw (Well of Lost Dreams, Dawn of Hope) refills the hand. The deck wins through combat-either a single decisive overrun with Overwhelming Stampede, Akroma's Will, or Mirror Entity, or sustained pressure from ever-growing creatures and Crested Sunmare tokens. There are no infinite combo lines; inevitability is pure board presence and combat math.
