Deck overview

This deck is a classic Grixis Wheel and Group Slug strategy commanded by Nekusar, the Mindrazer. The primary objective is to accelerate into Nekusar or redundant draw-punishers like Underworld Dreams and Spiteful Visions, then chain mass draw-and-discard spells such as Windfall, Dark Deal, Molten Psyche, and Teferi's Puzzle Box. Each forced draw deals incremental damage to every opponent, turning standard card advantage into a lethal table-wide clock. The deck also features explosive game-ending synergies, including Peer into the Abyss to drain massive life totals in one turn, and the infinite combo of Bloodchief Ascension with Mindcrank to mill and drain opponents completely. While the strategy applies relentless pressure, giving opponents full hands of seven cards creates inherent vulnerability, requiring careful timing of counterspells like Counterspell and Negate to protect key pieces.
