Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats deck is built to convert creature deaths into card advantage and life loss. Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER draws cards and drains when he enters or attacks with a sacrifice, and four death triggers in one turn transform him; Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel then grants an emblem that drains on every death and attacks with flying to trade creatures for cards. Token generators such as Jadar, Ghoulish Procession, Ophiomancer, and Liliana feed the sacrifice loop, while Blood Artist, Bastion of Remembrance, Al Bhed Salvagers, and Marionette Apprentice translate those deaths into damage. Reassembling Skeleton and recursion spells make the loop repeatable. There is no infinite combo; the deck wins by grinding out repeated drains over several turns.
