Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Golgari kindred stompy strategy piloted by Chief of the Wilds. The commander doubles triggered abilities from other Wolves and battles while growing larger whenever a Wolf enters the battlefield. The game plan focuses on early ramp, deploying cost-effective Wolf creatures, and capitalizing on doubled token creation and +1/+1 counters. Explosive token engines like Hollowhenge Overlord and Chief Warg's Company quickly build wide boards, while counter multipliers like Doubling Season, Branching Evolution, and Banner of Kinship turn small tokens into massive threats. Trample enablers such as Garruk's Uprising and Primal Rage ensure that raw stats convert into decisive combat eliminations. While the deck boasts immense mana velocity and card draw once its engine is active, it runs minimal instant-speed interaction and remains susceptible to well-timed creature sweepers.
