Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue combo archetype centered on activated abilities and untap loops, commanded by Gogo, Master of Mimicry. The deck accelerates in the early turns using mana rocks, dorks, and draw engines like The One Ring, Rhystic Study, and Mystic Remora. Its primary strategy revolves around assembling infinite untap and mana loops via Isochron Scepter imprinting Dramatic Reversal, or Aphetto Alchemist equipped with Illusionist's Bracers. Once an infinite loop is established, the deck channels unlimited untap activations into outlets like Scepter of Empires for lethal table-wide direct damage, Grindclock or Screeching Sliver to mill opposing libraries, or Urza, Lord High Artificer to play the entire deck. A dense suite of free and efficient counterspells—including Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Pact of Negation—ensures reliable protection during combo deployment while disrupting faster opposing strategies.
