New Untitled Deck by Dasden

Format: Commander

Commander: The Locust God

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Locust God is the deck's engine: every card drawn creates a hasty flying Insect. The primary plan is to resolve the commander, then chain cantrips, lootings, and wheels to flood the board with tokens. Secondary paths include Niv-Mizzet, Parun as a hidden draw-damage commander and the Mister Fantastic + Sage of the Falls loop, which makes an arbitrarily large Insect army once The Locust God is on the battlefield. Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive and damage amplifiers like Impact Tremors and Cavalcade of Calamity convert the swarm into lethal damage. The commander's death trigger returns it to hand, making it a resilient engine that can be recast without tax.
