Gollum the diddler by ChandlerJ

Format: Commander

Commander: Gollum, Riddle Master

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

The deck is a mono-black aristocrats engine that wins by chaining creature deaths into life loss. The primary plan is to assemble a recursive creature (usually Gravecrawler or Reassembling Skeleton) with a mana-producing sacrifice outlet and a drain payoff such as Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, or Ayara, then loop for infinite triggers. Secondary paths include a big Gray Merchant of Asphodel devotion kill, Bolas's Citadel activations, and the Sephiroth-transform emblem. Gollum, Riddle Master is a low-cost value piece whose odd/even trigger draws cards and drains, but the deck does not depend on him. There is no true hidden commander; Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // One-Winged Angel is the closest secondary engine.
