Deck overview

This deck executes a competitive mono-white stax strategy centered on Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice. The game plan accelerates out Light-Paws and dense stax pieces on Turns 1–3 to lock out opposing combo, storm, and graveyard strategies. Under lock pieces like Rule of Law and Drannith Magistrate, opponents are restricted to one spell per turn and cannot access their commanders or graveyards. Light-Paws completely breaks parity on these restrictions: casting a single low-mana Aura tutors an additional Aura directly from the library onto the battlefield. This engine rapidly builds a massive, evasive, and protected Voltron threat with lifelink, first strike, and ward. The deck protects its commander using tutorable protection Auras alongside efficient instant-speed defensive spells. It eliminates opponents sequentially through lethal commander damage between Turns 4 and 6 while opponents remain immobilized by stax pieces.
