Deck overview

This mono-blue control deck uses Lyra, Tolarian Archangel as both a card advantage engine and a reliable token generator to fuel powerful Polymorph strategies. By packing the 99 with efficient draw spells that draw three or more cards—such as Brainstorm, Brainsurge, Eagle Vision, and Thirst for Knowledge—the deck consistently triggers Lyra on turn 4 to create 3/3 flying Angel tokens. On turn 5, it transforms these tokens using Polymorph, Proteus Staff, Reweave, Mass Polymorph, or Synthetic Destiny to cheat out enormous game-ending threats like Hullbreaker Horror, Tidespout Tyrant, Consecrated Sphinx, and Stormtide Leviathan. Once assembled, the deck locks opponents out of the board with continuous bounce triggers and closes the game across three combat cycles with an overwhelming aerial assault.
