Vito ni joms by Joseampil

Format: Commander

Commander: Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a focused mono-black combo-drain deck built around Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. The primary game plan is to assemble an infinite life-gain / life-loss loop using cards like Sanguine Bond, Exquisite Blood, Bloodthirsty Conqueror, and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose himself, then trigger it with any lifelink creature or drain effect. The deck packs an extremely dense tutor suite (Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Imperial Seal, Grim Tutor, and the repeatable Emeritus of Woe // Demonic Tutor) to find the pieces quickly. Fast mana rituals (Dark Ritual, Cabal Ritual, Culling the Weak) and mana multipliers (Cabal Coffers + Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth) accelerate the clock. Backup win conditions include Exsanguinate, Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Shard of the Nightbringer, and Sorin Markov setting an opponent to 10 life. The deck can also grind incremental advantage through Phyrexian Arena, Black Market Connections, and Bolas's Citadel.
