Deck overview

This Jeskai Equipment deck is commanded by Captain America, First Avenger, blending explosive Voltron combat with flexible noncombat burn. The strategy leverages a comprehensive toolbox of artifact search engines—anchored by the five 'Mage' creatures (Trinket Mage through Treasure Mage) alongside Stoneforge Mystic and Fighter Class—to locate optimal weapons for any board state. Captain America's 'Catch' trigger bypasses high equip costs by automatically attaching gear at the beginning of combat, while his 'Throw' ability converts high-mana-value Equipment like Excalibur, Sword of Eden and Kaldra Compleat into divided direct damage to eliminate blockers or burn life totals. Accelerated by cost-reducers and equip-cheat engines such as Puresteel Paladin and Forge Anew, the deck shields its win lines with Grand Abolisher, Teferi's Protection, and Fierce Guardianship. It delivers rapid single-target eliminations through double strike and extra combats, securing victory through high-tempo damage and resilient utility.
