Deck overview

Esper token-draw value engine built around Marneus Calgar's Master Tactician. The deck generates tokens on almost every axis - attack triggers (Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Inquisitorial Rosette), planeswalkers (Elspeth, Sun's Champion, Elspeth, Storm Slayer), squad creatures, and the commander's own {6} activation - then converts each token into a card. Force multipliers Mondrak, Glory Dominus, Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation, and Academy Manufactor explode the token count, while Pitiless Plunderer + Ashnod's Altar turn Marneus's activation into a self-sustaining draw-and-mana loop finished by drain payoffs like Mirkwood Bats, Corpse Knight, and Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim. The secondary plan is go-wide beatdown with Cathars' Crusade, For the Emperor!, and Knowledge Is Power, backed by a strong protection suite (Clever Concealment, Flawless Maneuver, Inkshield). Marneus is simultaneously the draw engine and the combo ignition: every infinite line in the 99 requires him on the battlefield.
