Burn Down by mbeal

Format: Commander

Commander: Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kefka is built as a Grixis spells-and-graveyard control deck. Although both faces matter, the deck is built to use the back face's draw engine: the front strips hands and draws by discarded card type, then the {8} transform creates Ruler of Ruin so every life-loss ping from Vivi, The Destined Black Mage, Gandalf, or Kuja tokens turns into cards. The main win is Bloodthirsty Conqueror plus Sanguine Bond, an infinite life-loss loop. Prismari, the Inspiration acts as a hidden storm commander, with Bilbo and Emet-Selch recasting spells. The deck grinds with discard, instant-speed interaction, and recursion, then closes through the combo or a spell-chain storm line.
