Elas Lurrus Aristocrat by WillyB

Format: Commander

Commander: Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a low-curve Orzhov aristocrats drain deck helmed by Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim. The plan floods the board with cheap creatures and enchantments that gain life on ETB and punish deaths, then converts that friction into table-wide life loss through redundant drain pieces. Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim is an efficient two-mana engine that both pads your life total and turns every subsequent death into a three-player ping, but the 99 already carries multiple parallel aristocrats (Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Cruel Celebrant, Marionette Apprentice, Corpse Knight) so the strategy does not collapse without her. Wins come from attrition drains, a late Army of the Damned sacrifice wave, Westvale Abbey transforming into Ormendahl, Profane Prince, or a grown Karlov of the Ghost Council. There are no realizable infinite combos; the deck grinds value, recurs bodies, and bleeds the table out.
