Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Villain kindred midrange build commanded by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. The deck establishes early board presence through low-cost Villains and mana rocks before deploying Doctor Doom on Turn 4. Doom grants menace and triggers connive at the beginning of combat on your turn, generating consistent card filtering, growing attackers with +1/+1 counters, and burning opponents whenever lands are discarded. The midgame expands this advantage using kindred payoffs such as Baron Strucker, HYDRA Overlord, Iron Monger, Sadistic Tycoon, Madame Hydra, and Ultron, Unlimited. Combat evasion and Anthem effects from The Squadron Sinister and Roaming Throne push high damage across the table, while Kindred Dominance and Savage Beating break parity to close out games by Turn 8. Defensive enchantments like Propaganda and No Mercy deter counterattacks, giving the deck the breathing room needed to grind out victories through evasive combat.
