Deck overview

This Dimir Zombie tribal deck is commanded by The Scarab God, combining resilient token swarms, aristocrat life drain, and powerful graveyard theft. Early turns focus on establishing recursive Zombie engines with Cryptbreaker, Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, and Diregraf Colossus. By Turn 5, The Scarab God enters the battlefield, immediately turning every Zombie on board into upkeep scry selection and life loss for each opponent. The deck controls the board using asymmetric sacrifice effects like Dictate of Erebos, Sothera, the Supervoid, and Ravenous Rotbelly, converting expendable tokens into one-sided board wipes. Victory is achieved through wide combat damage backed by lords like Undead Warchief and Diregraf Captain, sustained upkeep drain, or massive life swings via Gray Merchant of Asphodel. With built-in commander recursion and instant-speed reanimation, the deck excels at grinding down opponents while sustaining immense late-game resilience.
