New Untitled Deck by Ragnarogk

Format: Commander

Commander: The Gitrog, Ravenous Ride

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Golgari deck uses The Gitrog, Ravenous Ride as a haste threat and card engine. You saddle Gitrog with a high-power creature, attack, then sacrifice that creature to draw cards equal to its power and put that many lands from your hand onto the battlefield tapped. Those lands trigger landfall payoffs that build a wide board of Badgers, Beasts, Insects and Zombies. The primary plan is Gitrog-fueled landfall swarm backed by 18-power Yargle and Multani and other 7+ power demons. Secondary paths are pure landfall aggro without Gitrog and big tramplers doubled by Zopandrel. Greensleeves, Maro-Sorcerer and Kodama of the East Tree act as hidden commanders that generate value from every land drop.
