Deck overview

This mono-green deck uses Selvala, Heart of the Wilds to convert the power of large creatures into massive mana acceleration and card draw. Early turns focus on deploying 1-drop mana dorks to cast Selvala ahead of curve. Once Selvala is active, casting under-costed, high-power threats like Ghalta, Primal Hunger or Hexhaven Invigorator triggers Selvala's draw ability and allows her to tap for enormous amounts of green mana. This mana fuels explosive draw spells such as Rishkar's Expertise and Return of the Wildspeaker, digging deep into the library. The deck converts this resource surplus into immediate combat victories on Turn 5 using Craterhoof Behemoth, Finale of Devastation, or an entwined Tooth and Nail to trample over the entire table in a single attack. Robust backup mana engines ensure the deck remains dangerous even without its commander.
