Papa Slime (duplicated from GhostinTheShell68) by CH1LV3RY

Format: Commander

Commander: Gary, the Snail

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Dimir control-combo deck helmed by Toxrill, the Corrosive blends a relentless grind engine with a compact, tutor-backed win package. The primary path to victory is the Thassa's Oracle + Demonic Consultation two-card kill, which can be assembled as early as turn 3 thanks to a dense tutor suite and fast mana. A secondary infinite-mana loop via Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal paired with a proliferate-draw imprint (Contentious Plan or Experimental Augury) also draws the deck and proliferates opponents' poison counters to lethal. Toxrill itself provides inevitable board control through slime counters, turning every opponent's creature into a liability while generating slug tokens for card advantage. The deck's threat base is augmented by an infect subtheme (Blighted Agent, Inkmoth Nexus, and cheap proliferate spells) that can close games through poison damage when the primary combo is disrupted.
