Deck overview

Blech, Loafing Pest is a Golgari lifegain-and-counter deck. Every life-gain trigger becomes a +1/+1 counter on Pests, Bats, Insects, Snakes, and Spiders, so the 99 is built around ETB lifegain creatures, Pest-token generation, and recursion. The primary path is to grow a wide token board, drain with South Wind Avatar/Fumulus, and finish with Overwhelming Stampede or Blossoming Bogbeast. A secondary aristocrat-reanimation package (Chthonian Nightmare, Witch of the Moors, Moseo) rebuilds after board wipes. There is no deterministic infinite combo; the Broodscale + Heroic Feast pile is value, not a loop, so goldfish kills come from a critical mass of tokens and counters rather than a single two-card line. No hidden commander exists; the deck is built solely to maximize Blech's counters.
