Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is an aggressive, go-wide typal strategy helmed by Captain America, Team Leader. The primary game plan focuses on curving out efficient 2-mana ramp into the commander on Turn 3, followed by a sequence of impactful legendary Hero creatures. The commander grants every newly entering Hero immediate vigilance, haste, and a +1/+1 counter, turning fresh deployments into instant attackers that trigger combat abilities immediately. The deck maintains card advantage through engines like Director Nick Fury, Jarvis, Earth's Mightiest Butler, and Kindred Discovery, while building a wide, buffed board. Critical onset occurs around Turn 6 through mass evasion or damage doublers like True Conviction, Coat of Arms, or Wave Goodbye, which eliminates opponents over two combat rotations by Turn 8. While potent in combat and resilient in grindy creature matchups, the deck relies heavily on its creature board and has limited answers to instant-speed non-creature combos.
