Treasure! by BADWOLFDONTBLINK616

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Impenetrable

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Smaug the Impenetrable commands a Rakdos deck centered on damage redirection, Treasure generation, and massive noncombat damage sweeps. Smaug's indestructible body and triggered ability allow it to absorb heavy board wipes such as Blasphemous Act and Star of Extinction, converting that noncombat damage directly into an overwhelming stockpile of Treasure tokens. These tokens fuel game-ending mana sinks like Torment of Hailfire, Exsanguinate, and Crackle with Power, or trigger drain engines like Mirkwood Bats, Marionette Apprentice, and Nadier's Nightblade. Alternate win paths leverage reflect creatures such as Brash Taunter and Wrathful Red Dragon to bounce catastrophic board-wide burn directly into opponents' life totals.
