Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Gruul ramp strategy engineered to deploy Etali, Primal Conqueror ahead of curve on Turn 4. Fueled by an extensive suite of low-cost mana dorks, artifact acceleration, and burst rituals such as Treasonous Ogre and Geosurge, the deck accelerates rapidly toward seven mana. Upon entering the battlefield, Etali's trigger casts the top nonland card from each player's library for free, generating immediate tempo and card disparity. The list exploits this trigger using cheap copy effects like Molten Duplication and Twinflame, which re-trigger Etali and exponentially widen the board. While the primary path to victory involves overwhelming combat damage and transforming Etali into Etali, Primal Sickness for lethal poison counters by Turn 6, the deck also contains compact backup lines, including Food Chain with Squee, the Immortal and the infinite Dualcaster Mage plus Twinflame sequence.
