Reaper Theft by kingzire

Format: Commander

Commander: Auntie Ool, Cursewretch

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jund -1/-1 counter "blight" deck, helmed by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch, that seeks to weaponize the -1/-1 counter as both a removal engine and a card-draw/trigger engine. The commander turns every -1/-1 counter you place on your own creatures into an extra card, while the rest of the deck refills the counter supply through wither creatures, proliferate effects, and one-shot counter bombs. The primary plan is to grind the board down with counters while generating token armies from Nest of Scarabs, Flourishing Defenses, and Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, then convert that engine into a win through All Will Be One, Bastion of Remembrance, or combat inevitability via Kulrath Knight and Maha, Its Feathers Night. The deck runs a compact infinite-combo core around Blowfly Infestation that can be assembled with the deck's tutor suite, giving it a reliable, if somewhat slow, path to a deterministic kill.
