Kratos CMD 10 by Kacuso

Format: Commander

Commander: Kratos, God of War

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This mono-red aggro deck is helmed by Kratos, God of War, leveraging his global haste grant and end-step damage trigger to punish opponents who play defensively. The strategy revolves around swarming the board with low-cost creatures, attacking relentlessly each turn, and using burn spells to clear blockers or finish off opponents. Token generators like Dragon Fodder and Razorkin Hordecaller accelerate the board presence, while equipment such as Samurai's Katana and Adventuring Gear enhance threat quality. The deck has no infinite combos; it wins through incremental combat damage, Kratos's end-step pings, and direct damage from spells and landfall triggers like Spitfire Lagac. Card advantage comes from looting effects (Romantic Rendezvous) and impulse draw (Strongbox Raider), but overall the deck is heavily reliant on its opening hand and early pressure.
