Death Becomes Carmen by RandomBanterMan

Format: Commander

Commander: Carmen, Cruel Skymarcher

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Cruel Skymarcher is a grind-value recursion commander in a token-heavy Orzhov aristocrats build. The deck makes expendable tokens, sacrifices them to draw cards and drain life, and uses Carmen's attack trigger to reanimate whatever key piece died. Secondary paths include a token-alpha strike via Adeline and Thalisse and a late-game Bolas's Citadel activation. Teysa Karlov is the closest thing to a hidden commander, doubling the crucial death triggers, while Cathars' Crusade and Felisa convert counters into more tokens. The commander is not strictly required, but she is the deck's best repeatable engine and a top way to rebuild after a wipe.
