Deck overview

This deck is a four-color Superfriends control strategy piloted by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary game plan focuses on establishing early mana acceleration and pillowfort defenses, deploying high-loyalty planeswalkers on curve, and controlling the board through asymmetric sweepers and loyalty proliferation. Jace, Multiverse Architect provides continuous card filtering and cheats massive threats into play via his polymorph ability, while taxing opposing attacks. As the battlefield develops, cards like Oath of Teferi, Ichormoon Gauntlet, and Deepglow Skate rapidly push planeswalkers into ultimate range. Defensive pieces such as Authority of the Consuls, Sphere of Safety, and Ashiok, Dream Render protect your planeswalkers by taxing attacks and locking out library searches. The deck closes games around Turn 7 by detonating devastating ultimates from Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God, Liliana, Dreadhorde General, or Jace, Reality Sculptor, or swarming the table with token armies created by Ajani Unrelenting and Ovika, Enigma Goliath.
