Ghyrson Starn by Lulani

Format: Commander

Commander: Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph is the force multiplier of this Izzet burn-control list. The plan is simple: land a 1-damage pinger, then cast Ghyrson so every ping becomes 3 damage, then chain cheap instants and sorceries to burn all opponents at once. Multiple redundant pingers like Firebrand Archer, Kessig Flamebreather, and Thermo-Alchemist turn each spell into multi-damage events, while cantrips and lootings keep fuel flowing. The hidden commander is Niv-Mizzet, Parun: with Curiosity or Tandem Lookout it forms a draw-damage loop, and Ghyrson turns each 1-damage Niv-Mizzet trigger into 3 damage, making the loop lethal with about 14 draws per opponent. Grapeshot, Underworld Breach, and Storm-Kiln Artist provide extra reach. The deck is fast but vulnerable if the commander is repeatedly removed.
