The Apex of the World by user4235621

Format: Commander

Commander: Kaalia, Zenith Seeker

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kaalia, Zenith Seeker is the command-zone draw engine: her ETB finds one Angel, one Demon, and one Dragon, and the deck repeatedly blinks her to stock a hand of threats. The hidden commander is Kaalia of the Vast, who cheats those threats into play tapped and attacking. The primary plan is to find Kaalia of the Vast with tutors or Pyre of Heroes, give her haste with Lightning Greaves, and attack with Terror of the Peaks, Balefire Dragon, or Avacyn. A secondary, faster line assembles Animate Dead plus Worldgorger Dragon, using Terror of the Peaks as the infinite-mana outlet. Flicker effects and Panharmonicon multiply ETB value, while free interaction protects the key turns.
